ProEx: an incubator for partnerships and business in the artistic world will come to são paulo with ISPA’s Congress
ProEx, short for “Professional Exchange”, aims to gather professionals from several areas of the performing arts field and create new business opportunities for participants.
ProEx – Professional Exchange is a space inside each ISPA’s Congress that works similarly to a business fair for Dance, Theater and Music. It is a space where artists, producers, managers, theater architects, and many other professionals can publicize their work and interact with participants of the Congress. ISPA’s International Congress 2009, the first hosted by a South American country, will be held in São Paulo from June 10 through 13 of this year.
In addition to creating business opportunities, the ProEx also has another key function. The ProEx has created relationship networks and mutual exchange of ideas among professionals in the industry, such as representatives from festivals and artistic institutions, entrepreneurs, venue and festival directors, consultants, and artists, including the Pitch Session participants. These relationships persist and evolve over the years, even when official business transactions do not occur. Congress attendees will have free access to display their work at the ProEx.
However, interested parties must notify ISPA of their interest during the registration process in order to reserve a table at the ProEx. Those who wish to participate exclusively in this business fair-like event must pay a fee and fill in the registration form available on this page.
